Attachment to the smokebox is by the use of a brass block, secured to the top of the throttle by 6-32 screws. The steel plate is attached to the mounting angle (riveted to the top of the smokebox) by the use of 5-40 screws. The mounting angle and location were part of the mounting to fasten the original throttle. Photo by Robert Maynard, Modeltec May 1984.
