Summary

From Bruce Mowbry. An oldie from 1975 -ish. In the foreground is Ed Loomie's 4-4-0, myself on the center track with my newly finished LIttle Engines 0-4-0-T, and Ken Owens with his mostly scratch build Little Engines 0-6-0 on the far track. This was the first time I had my locomotive out at the Long Island Live Steamers track. The bobber caboose was a school shop project, the flat car built from old bedframes and scrap wood with Nelson Gray trucks. The locomotive was a "Just bolt em together "kit that required a lot more than just filing and fitting. My father took this photo with his 4x5 Speed Graflex Speed Graphic camera and personally developed the image in his dark room at the print shop where he worked at his second job in the evenings.
