Summary
The Valve shown mounted in a 5-1/4 inch smokebox. Special mounting shows steam admitted in the side of the valve. This was done to fit existing dry-pipe connection on boiler. The steam lines from the dry-pipe come forward from the front flue sheet, one on each side of the stack. The 1/8 inch diameter line is the supply from the lubricator.
